В Точке кипения прошло первое мероприятие в рамках совместного проекта СОГУ и культурно-исторического центра «Кавказ-Восток».
Проект предполагает проведение выставок, познавательных лекций, показов фильмов, музыкальных и поэтических вечеров, мастер-классов, посвященных культурам народов Кавказа и стран Востока.
Первым мероприятием из цикла стала лекция «Иран оседлый/Иран кочевой: царские регалии» к.ф.н. Тамерлана Салбиева, руководителя научно-исследовательского отдела «Центра скифо-аланских исследований». Лекция была посвящена символам царских регалий в персидской и иранской культурах.

Continuing its crackdown against entities allegedly involved in a front-running scam using messaging app Telegram, Sebi on Thursday carried out search and seizure operations at the premises of eight entities in multiple locations across the country. "Someone posing as a Ukrainian citizen just joins the chat and starts spreading misinformation, or gathers data, like the location of shelters," Tsekhanovska said, noting how false messages have urged Ukrainians to turn off their phones at a specific time of night, citing cybersafety. That hurt tech stocks. For the past few weeks, the 10-year yield has traded between 1.72% and 2%, as traders moved into the bond for safety when Russia headlines were ugly—and out of it when headlines improved. Now, the yield is touching its pandemic-era high. If the yield breaks above that level, that could signal that it’s on a sustainable path higher. Higher long-dated bond yields make future profits less valuable—and many tech companies are valued on the basis of profits forecast for many years in the future. In a message on his Telegram channel recently recounting the episode, Durov wrote: "I lost my company and my home, but would do it again – without hesitation."
