Ежедневно получаю доклады от своего первого заместителя, руководителя регионального штаба по ликвидации ЧС на Черноморском побережье Игоря Галася. Несмотря на ветреную и дождливую погоду, сегодня весь день добровольцы, спасатели, сотрудники администраций продолжали убирать загрязненный грунт в Анапе и Темрюкском районе. Общими усилиями с пляжей уже собрано и вывезено почти 96 тысяч тонн замазученного грунта, 10 тысяч тонн — за последние сутки. На площадку временного хранения привезли почти 61 тысячу тонн, остальная часть сейчас находится на четырех специализированных предприятиях — в Абинском, Темрюкском и Крымском районах. Там песок, перемешанный с нефтепродуктами, утилизируют.
Сегодня в ликвидации ЧС задействовано почти 7 тысяч человек и более 500 единиц техники. Спасибо всем за труд.

Telegram, which does little policing of its content, has also became a hub for Russian propaganda and misinformation. Many pro-Kremlin channels have become popular, alongside accounts of journalists and other independent observers. Pavel Durov, a billionaire who embraces an all-black wardrobe and is often compared to the character Neo from "the Matrix," funds Telegram through his personal wealth and debt financing. And despite being one of the world's most popular tech companies, Telegram reportedly has only about 30 employees who defer to Durov for most major decisions about the platform. Oleksandra Matviichuk, a Kyiv-based lawyer and head of the Center for Civil Liberties, called Durov’s position "very weak," and urged concrete improvements. The last couple days have exemplified that uncertainty. On Thursday, news emerged that talks in Turkey between the Russia and Ukraine yielded no positive result. But on Friday, Reuters reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin said there had been some “positive shifts” in talks between the two sides. Given the pro-privacy stance of the platform, it’s taken as a given that it’ll be used for a number of reasons, not all of them good. And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations.
