«Кировский завод» - главная «промышленная» станция Петербургского метрополитена. Она находится возле самого старого и крупного машиностроительного завода города — Кировского, поэтому оформлена в соответствующей стилистике.

Облицованный мрамором вестибюль декорирован лепниной и объёмными алюминиевыми медальонами, которые тематически посвящены металлургической, угольной и нефтяной промышленности СССР. А путевые стены украшены нестандартными элементами — подобием дверей кабельных шкафов.

Интересно, что наземный вестибюль станции внешне очень напоминает Парфенон в Афинах, а также Мемориал Линкольна в Вашингтоне, который изображён на пятидолларовой купюре и монете в 1 цент.
