Малайзийское агентство по обеспечению соблюдения морского права (MMEA) в воскресенье (12 января) сообщило, что спасло 14 членов экипажа танкера-продуктовоза "EAGLE 1", который загорелся в четырех морских милях к юго-востоку от Танджунг Пиай.
Исполняющий обязанности директора MMEA Джохора капитан Кама Азри Камил сказал, что 14 членов экипажа были безопасно доставлены на берег. Один член экипажа был унесен в воды Сингапура течением, там он был спасен сингапурскими спасателями.
