🐘 В зоопарк некоторые обитатели попадают с травмами или в ослабленном состоянии. Так в своë время там оказались азиатские слоны Памир и Пипита, которых спасли от истощения, амурский тигр Тихон — он вышел к людям из-за сокращения кормовой базы, дальневосточный леопард Эльбрус, сбитый машиной.
🦇 В Центр реабилитации рукокрылых регулярно приносят летучих мышей. Только с прошлой осени их было спасено больше 600.
Также Московский зоопарк активно занимается сохранением редких видов животных.
Например, в мае в Центр воспроизводства прибыли два рыбных филина — в России их всего 300–400 пар. Сотрудники займутся созданием искусственной популяции этого исчезающего вида птиц.
Ежегодно в Центре рождаются джейраны (быстроногие газели), а недавно в зоопарке появился первый детёныш из крымской популяции леопардового полоза — самой редкой в мире.

And that is why they let people choose whether they want their messages to be encrypted or not. When not turned on, though, chats are stored on Telegram's services, which are scattered throughout the world. But it has "disclosed 0 bytes of user data to third parties, including governments," Telegram states on its website. "The inflation fire was already hot and now with war-driven inflation added to the mix, it will grow even hotter, setting off a scramble by the world’s central banks to pull back their stimulus earlier than expected," Chris Rupkey, chief economist at FWDBONDS, wrote in an email. "A spike in inflation rates has preceded economic recessions historically and this time prices have soared to levels that once again pose a threat to growth." Ukrainian forces have since put up a strong resistance to the Russian troops amid the war that has left hundreds of Ukrainian civilians, including children, dead, according to the United Nations. Ukrainian and international officials have accused Russia of targeting civilian populations with shelling and bombardments. Right now the digital security needs of Russians and Ukrainians are very different, and they lead to very different caveats about how to mitigate the risks associated with using Telegram. For Ukrainians in Ukraine, whose physical safety is at risk because they are in a war zone, digital security is probably not their highest priority. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders. Given the pro-privacy stance of the platform, it’s taken as a given that it’ll be used for a number of reasons, not all of them good. And Telegram has been attached to a fair few scandals related to terrorism, sexual exploitation and crime. Back in 2015, Vox described Telegram as “ISIS’ app of choice,” saying that the platform’s real use is the ability to use channels to distribute material to large groups at once. Telegram has acted to remove public channels affiliated with terrorism, but Pavel Durov reiterated that he had no business snooping on private conversations.
