Население Эконды составляет более 300 человек, в основном эвенков, занимающихся охотой, рыболовством и национальными промыслами. Посёлок находится в 400 километрах от Туры, неподалёку от границы с Якутией, из-за удалённого местоположения здесь ранее не было мобильной связи.
Оборудование пришлось везти от Красноярска до Туры баржей в период ограниченной навигации, затем от Туры до места установки вертолётом.

Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp. Groups are also not fully encrypted, end-to-end. This includes private groups. Private groups cannot be seen by other Telegram users, but Telegram itself can see the groups and all of the communications that you have in them. All of the same risks and warnings about channels can be applied to groups.
