Платежная система решила не ограничиваться блокировками и для россиян, у которых на счету остались деньги, введет комиссию.
▫️Платить 3500 рублей в год придется в случае, если вы не пользовались счетом последние 12 месяцев и не заходили в аккаунт (например, по причинам блокировки 🤬). Если ваш баланс меньше 3500 рублей, PayPal все равно спишет весь остаток.
▫️Изменения вступят в силу 7 октября. Если вы не согласны с новыми комиссиями, то придется закрыть счет — других опций PayPal не оставляет.

The perpetrators use various names to carry out the investment scams. They may also impersonate or clone licensed capital market intermediaries by using the names, logos, credentials, websites and other details of the legitimate entities to promote the illegal schemes. Telegram was founded in 2013 by two Russian brothers, Nikolai and Pavel Durov. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. And indeed, volatility has been a hallmark of the market environment so far in 2022, with the S&P 500 still down more than 10% for the year-to-date after first sliding into a correction last month. The CBOE Volatility Index, or VIX, has held at a lofty level of more than 30. The fake Zelenskiy account reached 20,000 followers on Telegram before it was shut down, a remedial action that experts say is all too rare.
