6 июня вместе с сенатором Александром Савиным он внес в Госдуму законопроект, позволяющий сотрудникам Государственного пожарного надзора возбуждать административные дела в отношении виновников пожара без проведения предварительных проверок, если есть достаточные доказательства их вины.
