Bacalhau - это треска, которую обожают в Португалии. Самое забавное, что её завозят из Норвегии, так как здесь она не водится.

Рыбу разрезают и готовят традиционным способом: высушивают и солят. Получается вот такая гигантская вобла.

Перед приготовлением бакаляу долго вымачивают в воде (или молоке), а потом готовят одним из миллиона способов. Я, кстати, не шучу, рецептов бакаляу в Португалии действительно огромное количество и каждая хозяйка знает как минимум не один десяток.
