В начале августа Российский институт современного арбитража (РИСА) завершил юбилейную пятую Летнюю академию – ежегодный курс для начинающих специалистов в сфере арбитража. RWA выступили информационным партнером мероприятия.
Программа Летней Академии традиционно охватила большой спектр тем и вопросов, актуальных для специалистов, желающих начать свой путь в арбитраже: от написания арбитражной оговорки до приведения в исполнение арбитражного решения и особенностей международного поиска активов.
В этом году в рамках курса были впервые организованы занятия в формате мастерских. Один из мастер-классов в рамках Летней Академии провела Анна Авдулова, член Руководящего комитета RWA. Анна поделилась своим подходом к legal research и дала участникам возможность улучшить свои навыки поиска и анализа правовых источников, как на русском, так и на иностранном языке.

The perpetrators use various names to carry out the investment scams. They may also impersonate or clone licensed capital market intermediaries by using the names, logos, credentials, websites and other details of the legitimate entities to promote the illegal schemes. This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. In early 2021, a database selling phone numbers pulled from Facebook was selling numbers for $20 per lookup. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children. As such, the SC would like to remind investors to always exercise caution when evaluating investment opportunities, especially those promising unrealistically high returns with little or no risk. Investors should also never deposit money into someone’s personal bank account if instructed. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. Perpetrators of these scams will create a public group on Telegram to promote these investment packages that are usually accompanied by fake testimonies and sometimes advertised as being Shariah-compliant. Interested investors will be asked to directly message the representatives to begin investing in the various investment packages offered.
