Владельцами "Казбека" были Ротинов/Ротинянц Рубен Николаевич (1894-1974) участник Первой мировой и Гражданской войны (первопоходник) и его жена Клавдия. Так как во Вторую мировую Ротинов воевал в Русском корпусе, то семья уехала в Венесуэлу.
