Каждый раз, когда я читаю о мире в условной викторианке, который окружают некие темные и зловещие земли, я думаю - а как у них там вообще производство и экономика в отсутствии большой части ресурсов функционирует?.. Откуда они добывают железо, уголь, дерево? Каким образом предметы роскоши достают? У них там нет современных технологий или технологий будущего, и вот как?? И если в предыдущей книге люди хотя бы показаны на грани выживания, то в нынешней - просто ноль ответов, ну ждем.
