Об отмене концерта в телеграм-канале сообщил орский мэр Артем Воробьев. Он заявил, что выступление «двух вышедших в тираж комиков, отметившихся распространением недостоверной информации» о боевых действиях на Украине, «абсолютно неуместно».
Выступление КВНщиков должно было пройти 8 марта в клубе «Султан». Игрок команды Сергей Писаренко заявил «Подъему», что организаторы объяснили отмену концерта тем, что «не собрался зал» из-за высокой стоимости билетов. Он добавил, что команда перечисляет доход со спектаклей в помощь российским военным.
СМИ предположили, что причиной претензий к КВНщикам стало видео, в котором Писаренко и его напарник Евгений Никишин осуждали действия российских властей на Украине.
