Вообще в Америке поляки в качестве героев анекдотов (Polish jokes) похожи на чукч или эстонцев у нас. Вот так Вэнс шутил: один парень представился как Луис Заблоцкий. Заблоцкий это польская фамилия? Знаешь, что в поляках интересного? Они хоронят своих покойников так, чтобы задница из-под земли высовывалась, чтобы было где велосипед поставить.
Вот такие люди пришли к власти в США, которые поляков совсем не уважают, а какие-то ПиСовцы этому радуются 😃 даже в польском сейме фамилию Трампа скандируют.
PS: Посмотрел ради интереса на английском. Шутка была в книге про жизнь американской глубинки, которую написал Вэнс: "Элегия Хиллбилли. История жизни одной семьи в условиях кризиса". По-английски звучит так: “You know what’s interesting about the Poles?
