🙋‍♀️С ульяновскими кадетами СК России провели викторину посвященную годовщине снятия блокады Ленинграда

Продолжая мероприятия, посвященные снятию блокады Ленинграда, кадеты Следственного комитета Российской Федерации школы №15 им. Героя Советского Союза Старостина посетили ульяновскую областную библиотеку имени В.И. Ленина.

Ведущий библиотекарь Васильева Наталья Николаевна организовала для них викторину. Кадеты разделились на четыре команды, а Наталья Николаевна задавала вопросы, связанные с блокадой Ленинграда.

Сотрудница библиотеки была приятно удивлена, что большинство кадет правильно ответили не только на вопросы об общеизвестных фактах, но и показали глубокие знания истории трагичного периода блокады города на Неве.

Разница в очках по итогам викторины оказалась совсем не значительна и все команды получили символические призы. Ребята поблагодарили Наталью Николаевну за её труд и прекрасно проведенное время в библиотеке.

After fleeing Russia, the brothers founded Telegram as a way to communicate outside the Kremlin's orbit. They now run it from Dubai, and Pavel Durov says it has more than 500 million monthly active users. Russians and Ukrainians are both prolific users of Telegram. They rely on the app for channels that act as newsfeeds, group chats (both public and private), and one-to-one communication. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Telegram has remained an important lifeline for both Russians and Ukrainians, as a way of staying aware of the latest news and keeping in touch with loved ones. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. Andrey, a Russian entrepreneur living in Brazil who, fearing retaliation, asked that NPR not use his last name, said Telegram has become one of the few places Russians can access independent news about the war. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores.
