Уважаемые коллеги и дорогие друзья! В этом году 13 декабря выпадает на пятницу - сочетание редкое, символическое и заслуживающее внимания публики ничуть не меньшего, чем "парад планет" или Хэллоуин. В связи с чем в этот день в 19.00 в Центре популяризации науки Станислава Дробышевского пройдёт вечер вопросов и ответов с участием президента Института Ближнего Востока Евгения Сатановского на тему (естественно) Армагеддона. Ну и всех прочих, уж кому какие в голову придут.

As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike. The news also helped traders look past another report showing decades-high inflation and shake off some of the volatility from recent sessions. The Bureau of Labor Statistics' February Consumer Price Index (CPI) this week showed another surge in prices even before Russia escalated its attacks in Ukraine. The headline CPI — soaring 7.9% over last year — underscored the sticky inflationary pressures reverberating across the U.S. economy, with everything from groceries to rents and airline fares getting more expensive for everyday consumers. And while money initially moved into stocks in the morning, capital moved out of safe-haven assets. The price of the 10-year Treasury note fell Friday, sending its yield up to 2% from a March closing low of 1.73%. However, the perpetrators of such frauds are now adopting new methods and technologies to defraud the investors. Messages are not fully encrypted by default. That means the company could, in theory, access the content of the messages, or be forced to hand over the data at the request of a government.
