Региональный Центр обработки данных «Ростелекома» будет предоставлять коммерческие услуги и размещать государственные сервисы.
Правительство Мурманской области стало ключевым партнером проекта. Регион является одним из лидеров по цифровизации, а значит, объем данных, которые необходимо хранить и обрабатывать, постоянно растет. В ЦОД уже хранится система видеоаналитики комплекса «Безопасный город».
Кроме того, новый дата-центр поможет местному бизнесу сократить издержки и повысить производительность труда.
Директор Северо-Западного филиала «Ростелекома» Александр Логинов отметил, что в центре будут храниться данные из Мурманской области, а при необходимости им смогут воспользоваться и другие северные регионы России, пока у них не будет своих аналогичных сооружений.
