Экс-президент США и лидер американской оппозиции Дональд Трамп прибыл в суд Вашингтона, где ему должны предъявить новые обвинения в попытке фальсификации выборов 2020 года. Формально, после того как Трамп вошел в здание суда, считается что он сдался властям и находится под арестом.

Сторона обвинения настаивает на реальном аресте экс-президента во время его предвыборной кампании. Всего по обвинениям Минюста США Дональду Трампу грозит более 400 лет тюрьмы.

UPD: Дональд Трамп не признал себя виновным в предъявленных обвинениях. По предварительнным данным, экс-президента отпустят из здания суда под обязательства не нарушать закона и явиться на следующее заседание.
