I was thinking about all those little 'be nice' lessons we were given when we were young;
-This person have a different skin color? It's not important. -This person is fat? Don't judge them. -This person is acting stupidly? Look away. -This person is threatening you? Go get help. -This person is hurting you? Forgive him.
But in reality, in all these situations, we were actually being told not to listen to our instincts, not to listen to that voice in our heads that warned us; that voice that says; -Be wary! -Use your judgment! -Observe the differences and learn! -Defend yourself! -Get angry!
In summary: We have been taught not to listen to ourselves. Not to trust ourselves.
Isn't there something totally crazy about being taught to not listen to a primal instinct that tells us how to act, and how to feel, how to be careful of what's different?

So, uh, whenever I hear about Telegram, it’s always in relation to something bad. What gives? Just days after Russia invaded Ukraine, Durov wrote that Telegram was "increasingly becoming a source of unverified information," and he worried about the app being used to "incite ethnic hatred." The last couple days have exemplified that uncertainty. On Thursday, news emerged that talks in Turkey between the Russia and Ukraine yielded no positive result. But on Friday, Reuters reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin said there had been some “positive shifts” in talks between the two sides. The channel appears to be part of the broader information war that has developed following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Kremlin has paid Russian TikTok influencers to push propaganda, according to a Vice News investigation, while ProPublica found that fake Russian fact check videos had been viewed over a million times on Telegram. In the past, it was noticed that through bulk SMSes, investors were induced to invest in or purchase the stocks of certain listed companies.
