Принципиально бронезащита развивается от текущей угрозы. Являясь скорее не доспехом, а медицинским средством. Цель его привести в соответствие тяжесть получаемого ранения и реальное время на эвакуацию, наличие и удалённость пунктов эвакуации, сортировки раненных и их стабилизации.

Изменяются угрозы - меняется форм-фактор защиты. То, что считалось идеальным на одном театре военных действий в 2016м или 2023м не пригодно для другой(или этой же) локации в 2025м.
