Турция не намерена проводить военную операцию против курдских "Сил народной самообороны" (СНС), аффилированных с запрещенной в республике Рабочей партией Курдистана (РПК), если новые власти Сирии установят полный контроль над территорией страны, включая районы проживания курдов. Об этом заявил глава турецкого МИД Хакан Фидан.
«Расширение РПК в Сирии, СНС представляет серьезную угрозу для Турции. Сейчас в Дамаске новая администрация. Я думаю, что теперь это в первую очередь их забота. Поэтому я считаю, что если они займутся данным вопросом должным образом, то у нас не будет причин вмешиваться»,
– отметил дипломат в интервью телеканалу Al Jazeera.
