В иркутском филиале Всероссийского государственного университета кинематографии имени Герасимова обучаются почти 400 студентов. Большинство из них — по программам среднего профессионального образования. С рабочим визитом в учреждении побывал губернатор Игорь Кобзев. Глава региона отметил, что в иркутском филиале учатся жители не только Иркутской области, но и других регионов России. Сейчас создается программа празднования. Планируется, что во время проведения Дней ВГИКа пройдут гала-концерты, спектакли, мастер-классы от мастерских головного вуза. В Прибайкалье также приедут профессора и студенты из московского вуза.

Pavel Durov, a billionaire who embraces an all-black wardrobe and is often compared to the character Neo from "the Matrix," funds Telegram through his personal wealth and debt financing. And despite being one of the world's most popular tech companies, Telegram reportedly has only about 30 employees who defer to Durov for most major decisions about the platform. At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill.
