Когда началась Вторая мировая война, в МККК было... 50 сотрудников. Когда же она закончилась, в МККК работало 4000 человек, причем половина из них – в Центральном агентстве по делам военнопленных. Они делали все, что в их силах, чтобы облегчить страдания людей.

О работе МККК во время Второй мировой войны глава нашей делегации Борис Мишель рассказал вчера на круглом столе «Гуманитарная работа во время Второй мировой войны: опыт прошлого и настоящего».

Круглый стол проходил в Храме Христа Спасителя в рамках Рождественских чтений. С приветственныи словом от РПЦ выступили протоиерей Михаил Потокин и иерей Андрей Титушкин
