Около 550 спортсменов в возрасте от 40 до 70 лет и старше принимают участие в первенстве республики по волейболу среди ветеранов, посвященном Году защитника Отечества в России.

Всего на площадке дворца спорта «50 лет Победы» собрались 62 команды из разных уголков Якутии.

Масштабное спортивное событие будет проходить до 2 февраля. Победители и призеры первенства будут награждены памятными медалями, дипломами и кубками. Также по итогам соревнований будут определены лучшие игроки.
