Совет ЕС в понедельник продлил экономические санкции против России ещё на шесть месяцев, до 31 июля 2025 года.
Санкции, впервые введённые в 2014 году и значительно расширенные с февраля 2022 года, охватывают широкий спектр ограничений. Они включают меры в сферах торговли, финансов, энергетики, технологий, транспортной отрасли и предметов роскоши. В частности, продолжается запрет на импорт нефти и некоторых нефтепродуктов из России морским путём, отключение ряда российских банков от системы SWIFT и приостановка вещательной деятельности нескольких российских СМИ в ЕС.
И, несмотря на все сообщения, Венгрия не стала накладывать вето на продление санкций против РФ. Видимо, какое-то решение по газу со стороны ЕС все же появится.

Since January 2022, the SC has received a total of 47 complaints and enquiries on illegal investment schemes promoted through Telegram. These fraudulent schemes offer non-existent investment opportunities, promising very attractive and risk-free returns within a short span of time. They commonly offer unrealistic returns of as high as 1,000% within 24 hours or even within a few hours. Additionally, investors are often instructed to deposit monies into personal bank accounts of individuals who claim to represent a legitimate entity, and/or into an unrelated corporate account. To lend credence and to lure unsuspecting victims, perpetrators usually claim that their entity and/or the investment schemes are approved by financial authorities. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. Pavel Durov, Telegram's CEO, is known as "the Russian Mark Zuckerberg," for co-founding VKontakte, which is Russian for "in touch," a Facebook imitator that became the country's most popular social networking site. That hurt tech stocks. For the past few weeks, the 10-year yield has traded between 1.72% and 2%, as traders moved into the bond for safety when Russia headlines were ugly—and out of it when headlines improved. Now, the yield is touching its pandemic-era high. If the yield breaks above that level, that could signal that it’s on a sustainable path higher. Higher long-dated bond yields make future profits less valuable—and many tech companies are valued on the basis of profits forecast for many years in the future.
