Летом 2024 года группа исследователей из Дирекции биологических ресурсов, особо охраняемых природных территорий и природных парков и Института биологических проблем криолитозоны СО РАН занимались авиавизуальным учетом численности овцебыков на территории Анабарского и Булунского улусов Якутии. За 11 учетных полетов было пройдено почти 7000 км с учетной полосой по 2,5 км с обеих сторон воздушного судна. Ученым удалось насчитать 5838 овцебыков в Анабарском улусе, 969 — в Булунском и в 1190 — в Аллаиховском. Комментирует эксперт ПОРА, координатор проекта «Овцебык.РФ» Игорь Мишуков.

Telegram has a history of standing up to Russian government requests for data, but how comfortable you are relying on that history to predict future behavior is up to you. Because Telegram has this data, it may also be stolen by hackers or leaked by an internal employee. The channel appears to be part of the broader information war that has developed following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Kremlin has paid Russian TikTok influencers to push propaganda, according to a Vice News investigation, while ProPublica found that fake Russian fact check videos had been viewed over a million times on Telegram.
