По сообщению очевидцев, находившиеся внутри "Запорожца" люди смогли самостоятельно выбраться из машины. Спасатели добрались к месту происшествия на вездеходе "Бурлак". В операции участвовали 15 человек, включая троих водолазов. Автомобиль подняли со дна при помощи телеуправляемого подводного аппарата.
