Известно, что наш земляк является уроженцем Устюжны, но после окончания местной школы переехал в Великий Устюг. Осенью 2024 года он принял решение отправиться в «горячую» точку и подписал контракт с Минобороны. По распределению он попал в штурмовую роту, где стал командиром отделения огневой поддержки. Недавно его подразделение попало под обстрел сил ВСУ. В результате атаки Сергей Саргсян погиб.
