Monroe workers strike against changes affecting immigrants
The Dairy Farmers of America recently acquired W&W Dairy in Monroe and is set to implement immigration changes. Here’s what you need to know.
Shocking amount of anti-union sentiment about the GHQ Staffers
I’m seeing people who claim to be wobblies pushing Pinkerton-esque rhetoric about the staff union. It’s wild.
“Unions make sense in other industries, but not for union staffers”
“The union is a third party getting between the staffers and their bosses”
In my opinion, we should be practicing what we preach and supporting the workers. If we want the GST to be making changes, we need to make sure they’re being bargained over.
I think the current GST is a huge improvement over the last one, but that doesn’t make them perfect or immune to criticism. If I have to choose between supporting the boss or the workers, I know what I’m doing,
Solidarity.

How can a member at large be of service?
Greetings all,
I've been a member at large since joining a little over three years ago, and stayed that way ever since. Reasons being that I perceive my field (pharmacy, usually but not always inpatient) to be very difficult to organize both because it is heavily regulated by brazenly corrupt state boards (I believe the Georgia BoP has at least one CVS executive on it), and because in general I find most of my fellow pharmacists of any age are either terrified or overtly opposed to the very idea of labor organization, despite chronic and severe problems within the field and American medicine more broadly. In the last year I quit a job at a fancy-pants teaching hospital in protest of my department and the hospital/school in general, primarily outright violence against pro-Palestine students and workers, among other issues.
So I remain unenployed and anxious about the future, but I find great satisfaction in working with fellow pragmatic anarchists and workers. The IWOC in particular has been meaningful to me since the ATL RICO 61 trials began. Prisoners will increasingly need our help in the near future.
So all that context out of the way, are there any FWs in a similar situation? I want dearly to do something with my time to help others, as I have lots of time but not so much money anymore. Other than prisoner support in my local area what would y'all recommend a Wobbly like me do to improve things for me and my comrades? I want to take action and apply my talents, not just be passive and discouraged
Thanks in advance for any replies!

POLL: Posting Requirements
Hey FW's! We've received a larger-than-normal amount of reports recently about new accounts being used to spam, troll, harass, etc. In order to combat this, we've been floating the idea of implementing some basic posting requirements to weed out some of the more problematic accounts. We would love your feedback on this issue, as well as any other ideas you may have!
