Hi comrades,
Back in November, 3 students from Queen's University Belfast were assualted by police arrested during a peaceful protest against their university's complicity in the Zionist genocide and the presense of Hilary Clinton on campus.
They have been wrongly charged with resisting arrest and assaulting officers and are currently going through a lengthy legal battle. At worst, they could face a six month prison sentence for peaceful protest on their own university campus.
There is currently a letter writing campaign to the Public Prosecutions Service to try to get the charges dropped. We are concerned not only for the welfare of these activists, but also for the chilling effect on protests that these prosecutions will have if successful. If you are able to write a letter to the PPS protesting the criminalisation of these demonstrations full information can be found at the link below.

Accurate(ish) Syndicalism in literature.
Hi everyone, I am currently creating a Sci-fi universe which I want to one day create into a book series. In the universe, Syndicalism is the premier ideology in leftist (Human) politics. I want to know any good Syndicalist theory/literature that I can base my syndicalist ideologies on.
I would also like to know what would actual syndicalists want in a media interpretation of their ideology, and what people think of the current main Syndicalist ideology I have created, which, without going into heavier specifics, (as I am mainly interested in the former question) is more of a centralised structure than what most Anarcho-syndicalists from the limited amount I know about the ideology would like. If anyone would like to discuss the ideology I came up with, comment below and I'll respond explaining it.
Also, I didn't really know where to post this, so I just chose here, but if there's a better place to post it please tell me, and thanks for any help you guys give!

ICL Call for Solidarity: Menstrual products for all who need them! (8M 2025)
# Call for Solidarity: Menstrual products for all who need them! (8M 2025)
The poor conditions of sanitary facilities as well as the lack of menstrual products pose severe problems for factory workers worldwide. The Federation of General Workers Myanmar (FGWM) together with the working group Asia of the International Confederation of Labour (ICL) initiated an international call to commemorate the Day of Feminist Struggles on March 8th and push for changes inside the factories.
On March 8th the factory workers will attempt to inform the management/owners about their demands. All comrades worldwide can help to increase the pressure by approaching retailers/ brands involved, for example by handing over the demands put forward by the factory unions on the ground to the store management.
Check out the call as well as the list of demands and brands involved below.
You can download leaflets in English and German for March 8th **here**.

Questions on economic administration
I have been calling myself communist for about a couple years now, and have been a trade unionist for the last year. While reading about some of the ideas in syndicalist author's works, I wanted to know how would the determination of inter-industry demand happen. I do understand how demand can be met for direct consumer goods as measuring them is easier as a simple price system can be used. But how would we know the intermediate goods needed for this?, From what I have seen it is simply based on mutual agreement but how is it determined, how much is sent? I think one solution is to just use something like wassily Leontief's model for seeing aggregate production.
The other method I thought was the use of planning bureaus, that is all agreement of how much each industry needs from each other is determined, but how much they have to produce to meet demands is determined by the planning bureau, maybe as an extension to the labor cartel of the region, they follow a national plan, but any deviations in demand are met by them locally, or the changes in production methods, thereby changing plans. For this, if they need more than what they have, they will import from the other region's syndicates, that is coordinated on a national level.

Implement a Dishwasher System at Conversion Brewery Instead of the Mug Club
FWers,
I'm in a real small town in Oregon. And I'm trying to raise awareness of worker solidarity and movement building. It may seem like a dumb thing, but the staff have been complaining how the owner wants to add a "mug club" without expanding the capacity for the staff to deal with the current workload, or the additional glassware with the club. It's a simple petition to show the Workers (and the Bosses!) that they're seen and supported. Feel free to share via any channels you may have.
A snippet:
"My personal experience at Conversion Brewery has been tinged with concern for the hardworking staff who put their effort into ensuring we have a great experience. Their commitment is evident and as a patron, I believe it's time we amplify their voices and push for change that could significantly enhance their workspace. It came to my attention that the workers do not have a dishwasher, which takes away valuable time and energy that they could be better spent serving customers and doing other valuable tasks. Introducing a dishwasher to Conversion Brewery instead of the mug club could be a crucial step towards this goal."
