Согласно проекту, вилка штрафов за превышение скорости увеличится с нынешних 500-5000 до 750-7500 рублей. За несоблюдение требований дорожных знаков или разметки - тоже с 500-5000 до 750-7500 рублей. Штраф за нарушение правил применения ремней безопасности предлагают увеличить с 1000 до 1500 рублей, а за пьяную езду или передачу прав управления с 30 до 45 тысяч рублей.
Одновременно с этим планируется снизить скидку за оплату штрафа в льготный период. Если сейчас при нарушении большинства ПДД в течение 20 дней водители могут оплачивать лишь 50% штрафа, то после принятия изменений придется платить 75% от штрафа, но срок льготной оплаты при этом вырастает до 30 дней.
