Australian nationalist Joel Davis has been arrested for "loitering" outside an Adelaide court where he was waiting for 16 members of the National Socialist Network to be granted bail two days after they were locked up over an Australia Day march.

Watching Joel being arrested outside of court and I’ve never seen anything like this before in Australia.

People do media interviews and their own reporting outside of court all of the time. They wait for their mates outside of court all of the time.

I’ve never seen anyone arrested for it.

The only sense I can make of it is as a pre-planned stunt by the South Australia government, as a show of force and to intimidate dissidents.

Police command must have been told something like:

“This one is Joel Davis, he’s likely to be doing media interviews outside of court today. Make sure you arrest him, use whatever excuse you can to arrest him and do it as publicly as possible.”

Free-speech Lawyers need to come forward on this one. This will be a golden opportunity to create a legal precedent to stop two-tier political policing.

For further context:

After being accused of loitering outside of court, South Australia Police tried grabbing at Joel and demanding Identification.

Joel said he didn’t have his ID but he was happy to provide his name and details.

Moments later a policeman accused Joel of ‘wearing a Nazi symbol’ during an Australia Day celebration on Sunday and signalled to the other officers to arrest him.

Joel denied displaying a Nazi symbol, and asked what symbol the police were referring to but was ignored.

Joel is being held in police custody in Adelaide.

More footage has emerged of Thomas Sewell's arrest on Australia Day.

"I have come peacefully, I have not hurt anyone," he says.

"They have arrested us for celebrating Australia Day, they are led by corrupt traitors who hate this country and are trying to disrupt any national spirit or national pride - they hate Australia."
