Ожидание общемировой рецессии и карантинные ограничения в Китае привели к тому, что нефть Brent подешевела еще больше — до $ 81,5 за баррель, что приблизило нефть Urals, торгующуюся с дисконтом в $20 за баррель к значению, равному тому самому потолку цен на российскую нефть.
Представитель Ирака в ОПЕК Мохаммед Саадун Мохсин заявил, что на предстоящем заседании 4 декабря ОПЕК и ее партнёры оценят ситуацию на рынке нефти и баланс спроса и предложения, поскольку организация стремится остановить снижение цен. Об этом сообщает Bloomberg 28 ноября.
По словам представителя Ирака, эксперты ожидают, что цены на нефть в следующем году будут колебаться от 85 до 95 долларов за баррель, что меньше на 5−7 долларов за баррель, чем в текущем году. Ирак зависит от цен на энергоносители, так как более 90% государственных доходов составляют поступления от продажи нефти.
Итого следует ожидать снижения квот на нефть, особенно, если учесть, что ФРС США соберется на заседание в середине декабря и, скорее всего, поднимет базовую ставку.

That hurt tech stocks. For the past few weeks, the 10-year yield has traded between 1.72% and 2%, as traders moved into the bond for safety when Russia headlines were ugly—and out of it when headlines improved. Now, the yield is touching its pandemic-era high. If the yield breaks above that level, that could signal that it’s on a sustainable path higher. Higher long-dated bond yields make future profits less valuable—and many tech companies are valued on the basis of profits forecast for many years in the future. Russians and Ukrainians are both prolific users of Telegram. They rely on the app for channels that act as newsfeeds, group chats (both public and private), and one-to-one communication. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Telegram has remained an important lifeline for both Russians and Ukrainians, as a way of staying aware of the latest news and keeping in touch with loved ones. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores.
