What new insights emerge when we think of Palestine and Ukraine in conversation with one another? In this dialogue, Svitlana Matviyenko and Malaka Shwaikh will critically examine the limits of the discourse of “resilience”—a term that often obscures the structural conditions of violence. They will explore how imperial subjects become implicated in sustaining colonial regimes, thereby reinforcing global systems of domination. By analyzing these mechanisms, the speakers will articulate solidarity not as a sentiment, but as a method of resistance—an active challenge to colonialism embedded within broader international structures of imperial expansion.

Following their recent posts (EN | UA), we will also host a small circle to discuss writing letters to our comrades who are in illegal ruzzian captivity.
After that we will go to the nearby 1st May demo to form a bloc against Russian imperialism. More on that here.

russia is a rotten country. There was another massive attack on Ukraine tonight. mostly on Kyiv but also Harkiv, 3 more Eastern and 1 central regions. At least 90 people wounded, at least 12 dead, some people are still missing, dozens of homes, schools and kindergartens destroyed. This was the tightest attack since the beginning of the full scale war. 215 flying targets were launched onto Ukraine. Unfortunately only a half of them could by hit down.
