The municipality of Schönefeld is about to adopt the development plan Südlicher Dorfkern Schönefeld for the deportation center at BER Airport. A public participation procedure is currently running in the municipality of Schönefeld until May 20. This is the last opportunity to officially raise our concerns and convince the municipal representatives to vote against the development plan. No building permit can be issued without a valid development plan. No deportation center without a building permit!

Why you should take action now:
Last chance: Only during the public consultation we can still raise our concerns officially.
Broad resistance has an effect: Every individual statement strengthens the pressure on the municipal representatives. You can also take a stand if you don't live in Schönefeld!
Protect human rights: A deportation center threatens the rights and dignity of refugees.
Scandalous project: The deportation center devours millions of taxpayers' money - there are numerous inconsistencies regarding the procurement law. In addition, an investor with a criminal record for bribery is profiting from the construction.

Gestern standen wir auf einer Aussichtsplattform in Sderot und blickten auf den Norden des Gazastreifens. Danach wollten wir weiter in den Kibbuz Kfar Aza – jenen Ort, an dem, wie in anderen Kibbuzim, grausamste Massaker verübt wurden.

Was sich derzeit im Gazastreifen abspielt, wird in die Geschichtsbücher eingehen – nicht als militärische Operation, sondern als Mahnmal menschlicher und moralischer Verrohung.
