Как сообщает Блумберг со ссылкой на документ в распоряжении издания, речь идет о части долга Украины на $9 млрд, который Киев получил в рамках одобренного конгрессом в апреле пакета дополнительного финансирования на цели национальной безопасности объемом $60 млрд.
Согласно тексту документа, направленного в конгресс, списание части долга "отвечает национальным интересам Соединенных Штатов и их партнеров по ЕС, G7+ и НАТО".
