Alstom начала серийные поставки поездов метро Movia в индийский Бхопал

Производитель передал государственному оператору метрополитенов Бхопала и Индаура (MPMRCL) первую партию из двух трехвагонных поездов. Подвижной состав собирается на заводе в индийском Савли в рамках программы Make in India.

MPMRCL сообщает, что первый поезд, поставленный город в прошлом сентябре, преодолел более 2 тыс. км испытательного пробега. Такой же пробег без пассажиров должны пройти и два новых состава, прежде чем пойти в коммерческую эксплуатацию.

Alstom заключила контракт стоимостью 32 млрд рупий (€387 млн) в июле 2022 года по итогам тендера, объявленного в ноябре 2021 года. Предложение французского производителя оказалось на 30% ниже, чем у также участвовавшей в конкурсе индийской BEML. Заказ предусматривает поставку 27 трехвагонных поездов в Бхопал и 25 трехвагонных поездов в Индаур (всего 156 вагонов) вместе с системами СЦБ, а также техобслуживание поездов в течение 15 лет.
