Milo Yiannopoulos - May 31, 2016 The Jewish writer, journalist, activist and commentator Milo Yiannopoulos said the below: "Anti-Semitism is the same kind of bogus thing as crying racism and crying sexism. . . We do run everything. Fact's can't be racist. Jews are vastly overrepresented in banking. . . My mother is Jewish so according to Jewish law I'm Jewish. . . They know the jig is up. . . These people know; it's starting to dawn on them. They are starting to get the message that saying 'racist' is not going to shut people up anymore. It doesn't shut me up. Now you've got to come with facts." - Milo Yiannopoulos , University of California (UCLA), Dangerous Faggot Tour, May 31st 2016 * Source: UCLA, May 31, 2016

Telegram was co-founded by Pavel and Nikolai Durov, the brothers who had previously created VKontakte. VK is Russia’s equivalent of Facebook, a social network used for public and private messaging, audio and video sharing as well as online gaming. In January, SimpleWeb reported that VK was Russia’s fourth most-visited website, after Yandex, YouTube and Google’s Russian-language homepage. In 2016, Forbes’ Michael Solomon described Pavel Durov (pictured, below) as the “Mark Zuckerberg of Russia.” In 2014, Pavel Durov fled the country after allies of the Kremlin took control of the social networking site most know just as VK. Russia's intelligence agency had asked Durov to turn over the data of anti-Kremlin protesters. Durov refused to do so. Continuing its crackdown against entities allegedly involved in a front-running scam using messaging app Telegram, Sebi on Thursday carried out search and seizure operations at the premises of eight entities in multiple locations across the country. Oleksandra Matviichuk, a Kyiv-based lawyer and head of the Center for Civil Liberties, called Durov’s position "very weak," and urged concrete improvements. He adds: "Telegram has become my primary news source."
