— 🇺🇸 NEW: The U.S. government has spent about $250 billion more in its first 50 days under Trump than during the first 50 days of 2024, Biden's last year, marking a 10% increase
Elon Musk claims his DOGE team saved $175 billion in taxpayer spending, though independent analysis verifies only around $16 billion in savings, despite the Department of Government Efficiency's initial goal of $2 trillion.
A significant factor driving costs is interest payments on the growing national debt, which have increased by about 22% from last year. Additionally, federal employee salaries have risen by over $3 billion under Trump.
