📌نخستین کنفرانس دانشجویی مهندسی برق ایران در تاریخ شهریور 1377، در دانشگاه صنعتی شریف توسط دکتر محمدرضا عارف برگزار شد. همزمان با برگزاری این کنفرانس سازمان علمی-دانشجویی مهندسی برق کشور با هدف حمایت از فعالیت‌های علمی-پژوهشی دانشجویان مهندسی برق و هدایت آن‌ها در مسیر بالندگی هر چه بیشتر علمی و توسعه صنعتی کشور تأسیس و در وزارت علوم، تحقیقات و فن آوری و همچنین سازمان ملی جوانان ثبت گردید. یکی از مهمترین وظایف این سازمان، انتخاب میزبان و نظارت بر برگزاری کنفرانس دانشجویی مهندسی برق ایران است. 📍کنفرانس ملی دانشجویی ایران هر سال توسط سازمان علمی دانشجویی برق کشور و با مشارکت یکی از دانشگاه های کشور برگزار می‌گردد. بیست و یکمین کنفرانس ملی دانشجویی برق ایران امسال به میزبانی دانشگاه کردستان برگزار می‌شود.

Right now the digital security needs of Russians and Ukrainians are very different, and they lead to very different caveats about how to mitigate the risks associated with using Telegram. For Ukrainians in Ukraine, whose physical safety is at risk because they are in a war zone, digital security is probably not their highest priority. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders. He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. The channel appears to be part of the broader information war that has developed following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The Kremlin has paid Russian TikTok influencers to push propaganda, according to a Vice News investigation, while ProPublica found that fake Russian fact check videos had been viewed over a million times on Telegram. At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised.
