Акция «Елка желаний» была инициирована Президентом России Владимиром Путиным на всероссийском онлайн-марафоне «Мы вместе». В этом году она проходит в седьмой раз. Уже два года дети из воссоединенных регионов участвуют в благотворительной акции.
