Отмечается, что стороны провели переговоры, в ходе которых обсудили сотрудничество в политической и экономической сферах. В частности, дипломат настоял на необходимости возобновления действия Соглашения о защите инвестиций между Мали и Королевством Саудовская Аравия.
В свою очередь Майга заявил, что Мали готова поддерживать саудовские инвестиции. Кроме того, он отметил необходимость обмена опытом по части борьбы с терроризмом.
