Соотвествующее приглашение страна получила от России, сообщил министр иностранных дел африканской республики Абубакер Джедже Одонго. Передает «Ташкент Дакар».
По его словам, Уганда на этапе прохождения всех необходимых процедур, чтобы определить, примет ли она это приглашение или нет.
Стоит отметить, что среди перспективных областей сотрудничества России и Уганды — энергетика, геологоразведка, добыча полезных ископаемых, научно-образовательная сфера, многое другое. Членство в БРИКС только укрепит отношения и откроет путь как новым областям кооперации, так и улучшению работы уже существующих.
