30 января в Дубае прошла встреча выпускников МГИМО. На мероприятии собрались более 80 мгимовцев разных поколений.

С приветственным словом к участникам обратились Чрезвычайный и Полномочный посол Российской Федерации в ОАЭ Т.Ф.Забиров, проректор А.В.Мальгин и торговый представитель России в ОАЭ А.Н.Терехин. Участников ждали активный нетворкинг с возможностью рассказать о себе и познакомиться с другими выпускниками.

Мероприятие организовано Ассоциацией выпускников МГИМО в арабских странах Персидского залива при поддержке Ассоциации выпускников. Генеральный спонсор юбилейного вечера – DUBANYA, первая традиционная русская баня в Дубае и ОАЭ.

An official Twitter account for the Russia diplomatic mission in Geneva shared a fake debunking video claiming without evidence that "Western and Ukrainian media are creating thousands of fake news on Russia every day." The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform. "There are a lot of things that Telegram could have been doing this whole time. And they know exactly what they are and they've chosen not to do them. That's why I don't trust them," she said.
