В Усолье-Сибирском, Иркутская область, следственный комитет после многократных публикаций в СМИ и активном обсуждении в социальных сетях начал проверку по делу о предоставлении детям-сиротам жилья ненадлежащего качества. Правда выдано оно было шесть лет назад, в 2015 году.
Получатели квартир сообщают, что жилье абсолютно непригодно для жилья и даже опасно для здоровья, а возможно и жизни. СК проводит проверку материалов дела. Правда так и остается вопрос, почему проблемой занялись спустя шесть лет? Неужели до этого никто из получателей не обратился к властям с проблемой или запросы просто были проигнорированы?

Emerson Brooking, a disinformation expert at the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, said: "Back in the Wild West period of content moderation, like 2014 or 2015, maybe they could have gotten away with it, but it stands in marked contrast with how other companies run themselves today." What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. "Someone posing as a Ukrainian citizen just joins the chat and starts spreading misinformation, or gathers data, like the location of shelters," Tsekhanovska said, noting how false messages have urged Ukrainians to turn off their phones at a specific time of night, citing cybersafety. Ukrainian forces have since put up a strong resistance to the Russian troops amid the war that has left hundreds of Ukrainian civilians, including children, dead, according to the United Nations. Ukrainian and international officials have accused Russia of targeting civilian populations with shelling and bombardments. There was another possible development: Reuters also reported that Ukraine said that Belarus could soon join the invasion of Ukraine. However, the AFP, citing a Pentagon official, said the U.S. hasn’t yet seen evidence that Belarusian troops are in Ukraine.
