Собор Николая Чудотворца на Ярославском дворище, Новгород

Фреска в подцерковье храма. Написана скоре после 1113 г.

Сохранность хорошая, если не считать пробоин от револьверных пуль, так как изображение было расстреляно фашистами при их отступлении из Новгорода.

Уверенная манера письма обнаруживает во фреске руку опытного мастера.

В 1996–1998 годах в соборе открыты и другие фрагменты росписи: сцены мучений и фигура сатаны на когтистом звере в нартексе и изображения Лазаря, епископа Кипрского, и Германа, патриарха Константинопольского, в арках алтарной части храма.
