Индийское издание утверждает, что визит Довала был согласован ещё в августе после встречи Моди с Зеленским. Помимо этого, советник по национальной безопасности примет участие в заседании БРИКС. Его визит должен состояться 10-12 сентября.
Аджит Довас очень известен на своей родине. В 80-х годах он принимал участие в ряде тайных операций, являясь агентом индийской разведки. А в конце 90-х Довас лично вёл переговоры с террористами, захватившими самолёт. Однако послужной список никаких результатов не гарантирует, особенно на нынешнем этапе украинского конфликта.
