Все четверо преступников были ранее судимы, причём неоднократно. В полиции подчеркнули, что расследование ещё продолжается, так как нужно выявить иных возможных соучастников криминальной схемы. Обвиняемым грозит от 10 до 25 лет лишения свободы.

Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. Some people used the platform to organize ahead of the storming of the U.S. Capitol in January 2021, and last month Senator Mark Warner sent a letter to Durov urging him to curb Russian information operations on Telegram.
