Уникальное наследие инженерии СССР: Деревянная градирня Североуральска
В мире осталось немного индустриальных сооружений, которые можно назвать произведением искусства. Одна из таких — деревянная градирня Североуральской ТЭЦ, построенная в 1948 году. Это — последний сохранившийся пример гиперболоидных конструкций, возведенных из лиственницы по проекту инженера Владимира Шухова.

Высота башни составляет 46 метров, что делает ее заметной доминантой в промышленном пейзаже города. Когда-то рядом стояла еще одна такая же градирня, но до наших дней сохранилась только одна. Ее уникальность подчеркивает редкость таких объектов — деревянных градирен в мире больше нет.

Эта башня — не просто объект старой электростанции, а часть инженерного наследия, которое доказывает, что даже утилитарные конструкции могут быть эстетичными и долговечными.
