Буксир проекта 758АМ построен на Пермском судостроительном заводе «Кама» (ныне ООО «Пермская судоверфь») в 1966 году.
До 2003 года он был приписан к порту Омск Обь-Иртышского бассейна, а после порт приписки изменился на Москву.
